For social commentary I wanted to do something that was still ongoing and very big that most of us do not go through. I'm going to be doing world hunger.

For my metamorphosis I wanted to work with something different. I decided I was going to turn a food item into a fat person. I wanted the food turning into the person to show the that the more we eat, the more we gain. I found this picture, and I used it as my reference image. I used model magic to create the ice creams and I went and bought ice cream cones. I rolled the model magic and then swirled them on top of the cone.
I wanted to do a social commentary on our generation. I'm taking my pictures that I posted and take all the likes and comments that go along with the picture and have them on my piece. At first I wanted to a make a mirror and somehow put my pictures on the glass part of it, I was going to make the outside of the mirror and just add a fake glass piece and have it painted a sliver or something. Then talking with Mrs. Maclay her idea was to take titles and have something like that, I didn't see it at first but then I took my own twist on it. So first there will be a wooden piece to hold it all together, which will make it easier to hang, so ill be making a 'rabbit' in the back of the wood. On top of the wood will be 4 ceramic blocks, and in the middle will be a mirror. My pictures will be modge podge onto the clay after its fired. It has taken a lot of trial and error and research on how to get the pictures onto the clay at all. But modge podge would be the best solution now. Maybe later I can experiment with some of the other ways to do a image transfer. So my social commentary is by having my pictures with all the comments and likes around the mirror as our generation is very obsessive with self image and most of us are very vain. So by me looking into the mirror I'm looking for a picture to take or looking to have something to post on social media.

'Selfies'These are a few pictures I have picked out that i find interesting. The first picture i thought was interesting since it had so much going on and uses a lot of different techniques. It’s like a mixed media type picture. And the second picture I picked was of picasso, I thought it was very unique to see how much change from 15 to 90. How when he was younger he focused more on the actual look of himself but at 90 he got more crazy with it.
